Below are some of the highlights of the events the club has participated in during 2009.

 

2008/2009 Cross Country league.

Mandy Avery was placed 1st in the ladies over 45 section.

Paul Reddaway was placed 3rd in the mens over 40 section.

Ralph Wheeler was placed 3rd in the mens over 50 section.

 

Hertford Mayors 10k - April 2009.

Paul Reddaway was placed 3rd in the mens over 40 section.

 

St. Albans 10k - May 2009 which included the Hertfordshire County Vets Championship.

Paul Reddaway was placed 2nd in the mens over 40 section in both race and county championship.

Ralph Wheeler was placed 2nd in the mens over 60 section in both race and county championship.

Broxbourne Runners were the 1st Senior Mens team.

Team members were - Paul Reddaway, Chris Reason, Derek Dutchburn, Steve Hunt.

 

Trent Park Triffic Trail 10k - June 2009.

Paul Reddaway was placed 2nd in the mens over 40 section.

Ralph Wheeler was placed 1st in the mens over 60 section.

 

Mid Week Road Race league.

Teresa English was placed 1st overall lady.

Paul Reddaway was placed 3rd in the mens over 40 section.
